A large city in Northern California began experiencing problems with with reflective traffic signs being tagged wth spray paint and endelible markers. The city searched for a solution that would remove the unwanted marking without damaging the clear coat and reflective properties of the signs. The maintenance department tried products from a home center and a catalog with little effect. We were contacted and our Safety One Graffiti Remover cleaned the signs without affecting the clear coat nor the reflective properties. Outdoor Advertising An advertising company was having a problem cleaning marked images on the sides of buses and at bus stops. They were using a competitior's product which was damaging the clear coat of the signs. In many cases, the only option was to replace the signs which created additional costs in materials and labor. SnagWolf received a call from the division manager asking about our product's performance. One of the unique features of SnagWolf's Safety One Graffiti Remover is that it tends to be less harsh on underlying materials than other products and paint thinner. After multiple trials, Safety One Graffiti Remover proved to be the solution to their problem. Additionally, the product cleans permanent marker from outdoor benches and seats inside of their busses with little evidence once cleaned. National Parks Graffiti is not just in cities anymore. Unfortunately, it can be found everywhere – including our national parks. We were recently contacted by a volunteer organization that focuses on keeping our national parks and the associated facilities clean. They were looking for a product that would remove graffiti without staining the natural environment nor damaging the underlying flora and fauna. They had tried other brands and were unable to find an environmentally safe product that was able to remove the mischief effectively, safely and fast. After learning about the application and challenges, we sent them Safety Two Graffiti Remover and Cleanser which is our concrete and porous focused formula. The pictures us show how well the product worked on both natural stone and the concrete block facilities within the park. Vinyl Signs In a national park, a number of vinyl/plastic signs were defaced with permanent marker. After discussing with the Park Manager, we recommended Safety One Graffiti Remover and Cleanser designed to clean paint and permanent marker from painted and printed surfaces. Using a damp towel, Safety One Graffiti Remover and Cleanser was applied to the sign by gently dabbing and wiping. The graffiti was removed without affecting the underlying ink on the sign and all of the affected signs were cleaned. These types of signs are produced using a variety of different inks, therefore a trial in an inconspicuous area is recommended. |
